The challenge
Most motion work either looks over-produced and slow, or fast and cheap. The goal here was to hit the middle — polished enough to feel brand-grade, but with the energy and pacing that actually works on social. It also needed to adapt from a 9:16 reel to a 16:9 pre-roll without a full re-edit.
The approach
I built the piece around a tight visual rhythm — cuts timed to implied beats, not literal music. Layered compositions gave depth without slowing things down. A minimal colour palette kept it feeling premium across backgrounds. The master file was built in a modular structure so formats could be exported independently without losing compositional integrity.
